This year, the City of Prattville's 4th annual Mardi Gras parade was no where near short of royalty. Along with Krewe of Athena Queen, Cindy McAllister, Jaye Herrod, Miss Fountain City 2008 and the Miss Fountain City Court also participated in the festivities.

The court rode in decorated cars, provided by Larry Puckett Chevrolet of Prattville. The Fountain City title holders who participated were: Tiny Miss - Anna Grace McAlpin, Little Miss - Mackenzie Cherry, Pre-Teen Miss - Mary Grace Churchwell and Oustanding Teen Miss - Hannah McDonald. Jaye Herrod was escorted through the parade by friend and Miss Fountain City supporter, Gene Canavan.

The girls had a wonderful time as they threw the traditional beads and moon pies to the crowds, estimated at over 18,000.
